My husband and I celebrated 39 years by staying at the Colgate Inn. The staff, especially Ruth at the front reception area, was amazing. She went above and beyond making our anniversary celebration memorable. My husband had a charcuterie board waiting and Ruth surprised us by leaving a bottle of champagne and two glasses waiting for us in our room. She was knowledgeable with suggestions to visit. The apple cider in the lobby was delicious. We were told if there was anything by we needed, reach out to the front desk.||The decor is old-school classic. The bed was comfortable, the room was a perfect size. There’s a restaurant on site with a bar. ||We drove to a small cider store and the area is very country quaint. There’s even a casino not too far! ||This was our second time staying there. W

My wife and I just stayed at the Colgate Inn for 2 nights. What a delight our stay was! From the moment we pulled into the parking lot, we knew we were going to love our stay. And we were right! The Inn itself is gorgeous! It looks storybook perfect, inside and out. As soon as we walked in from the cold, we felt at home! We were greeted by the warmest and most professional person, Ruth, at the front desk. There was also hot chocolate (and marshmallows) in the lobby. On a visit to see my niece who is a freshman at Hamilton College, I stayed at The Colgate Inn for several nights. As someone who works in the travel and hospitality industry, I researched hotels in the area and came across this boutique hotel. The stay was enjoyable on every level - from the design details of the interior to the comfort of the rooms. Next time, I will book a suite for more room and so my niece can stay with me during the visit. The staff is helpful and the Tavern restaurant in the hotel is fantastic - we ate there for dinner twice. The location is ideal for anyone coming in the area as it's close to Colgate, Hamilton and walking distance to the town of Hamilton with a lot of cute cafes and shops. I always stay at the Colgate Inn when visiting my daughter. The hotel is so charming and the front desk is always very accommodating. The rooms are always very clean, comfortable, perfect temperature, and nicely appointed. Last night I requested a few things in addition to what was already provided-extra water and coffee creamer, and Ruth (at front desk) was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Much appreciated!

Had a wonderful stay at the Colgate in this past weekend. The location can't be beat, the room was clean, spacious and comfortable. We held a birthday dinner for my daughter in the private Red Room. Emily was very helpful with booking the room and arranging a special mocktail for our group and our server Kali took great care of us and helped make it a special evening.
