Cohill's Inn

Only ate here. Tavern turned us away because we didn't have reservations so we went here and sure glad we did. Artichoke dip was really good. Chips that are served with it was okay. Burger was cooked to a perfect medium as requested. We got there a little early and glad because it filled up quick. Really nice seating/waiting area for waiting on tables. Staff was very cordial and responsive. Definitely would eat here again but they do close for the season.

No parking, spongy floors, very uneven floors, liberal propaganda sprawled in the windows, certainly not a friendly place. Very dirty carpet, empty soap dispenser, shower door didn't open fully. Arrived at 3:45, with a 3 o'clock check-in advertised. The door was locked and no one around. When he did show up, he said we don't open until 4. I said even if we're staying? He said oh, that's different. The door was still locked, and no one around.

My husband and I had an incredible dinner and stay at Cohill's. The food was delicious, service was incredible, Glen and a few regulars, their conversations and recommendations made it well worth the stay! Not to mention the softest sheets and comfiest beds we had in our 13 days of random travels. Everything from the pub/restaurant to our room was super clean. Definitely on our list of places to return and explore more.

We stopped in for dinner on a Friday night. They were extremely busy and communicated to us that the kitchen was backed up, but they’d take our order once they were caught up. This was not a problem for us, so we sat at the bar and had drinks while we waited. The food was SO worth the wait. My ravioli had fresh herbs and cheese and it was delicious. My boyfriend got a burger. We finished off our meal with a lava cake, which was also great! The food was clearly made with care. The staff were super friendly and the pub was cozy and inviting. We would absolutely go back!

The location was great and the room was adequately clean, but that's about it. We unknowingly passed the owner on the upper deck, but he made no attempt to welcome us. When we went down to the bar to let them know we were there, it was very unwelcoming. The owner was there again, he or the other bartenders were not the least bit friendly. Room floors all went downhill, shower extremely small (a larger person wouldn't even fit) bed was uncomfortable, and a bit of an indescribable odor in the room. Note, no AC. Food and service across the street was amazing - make reservations there you won't regret it
