We could not tell if this place was open for business when stopped by on a whim. However, the website still works and there have been recent comments suggesting this is ongoing business. Our recommendation is do not do what we did which is show up unexpectedly and instead call and confirm everything first at least a day ahead if not more. Really classic looking early 1900's hotel. BTW we should mention the hotel faces a very busy transcontinental. Expect loud, long trains anytime day or night. We visited May 2025.

Philip is so kind and worth calling. This is not a traditional hotel but more if Philip has time and inclination, he invites you to see the hotel and sometimes to stay. It’s all very very cool.

Not sure why Chris Cornell wrote a song about Cochise, but this hotel is BEAUTIFUL and so historically rich! Absolutely lovely if you have some time to hang out in the area. The rockhounding is also marvelous, so get your tumblers & stone cutters ready for your return!!

What a wonderful 1882 Hotel experience. Our group loved dressing in period attire and enjoying our time there. The men played card games on original tables. It is an old place so don't expect completely new surroundings.

I visited this location to meet the owner and see andrarn more about the Old West gambling game of Faro. This location has a bed and breakfast, as well as a gaming museum behind the hotel. The owner, Phil, was a very gracious host and showed me around the hotel, as well as the gaming museum. We sat down and played a cpl hands of Faro, and he showed me all of his equipment. It was a very impressive collection and one worth seeing. I highly recommend to check this pace out if you are in the area, or passing thru to Tombstone or Bisbee
