Cobblestone Hotel & Suites - Rhinelander

Overall, a nice stay. Location is convenient. I traveled with my dogs and the dog park down the road is very convenient.||The room was very clean and reasonably priced. However, the noise was rather loud. There were a couple of youth tournaments going on in the area, apparently, and there was a lot of running down the halls and foot traffic, which is understandable. The rooms don’t do much to quiet that noise.||The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. They did seem understaffed a couple of times I went to the front desk.||Also, the pool & fitness center appeared clean and well-kept, though I didn’t use either.||Lastly, the breakfast was subpar. Both mornings, the food was on the warmers, but it really wasn’t warm. The selection of food was well diverse though.

Facilities & room were clean & well maintained. Staff was friendly & helpful. Close driving proximity to restaurants & stores. Good value for the price. Didn’t give 5 stars as beds were way too firm & pillows weren’t comfortable.

Rooms were nice and very clean. Short, prompt, inexpensive taxi ride from airport. Airport has no bus or Uber service. Nice family restaurant next door to hotel. THAT RESTAURANT closes at 3pm Mon thru Thurs and at 2 on Sunday so be aware if you don't have a car. Hotel sold a few microwavable meals and had free breakfast with the usual eggs, potatoes, sausage, waffles, coffee juice. FREE coffee in room, $5 bottles of water.

Very nice hotel. Nice large room. Kind employees. I wish the gym had a stationary bicycle. I wish the breakfast had more gluten free/low carb/low sugar options. I wish there was a hot tub.

My adult son and I had to travel up to Rhinelander on the weekend for a funeral. There was also a sports convention going on , so all the hotels were pretty pricey including Cobblestone. Once I got over the price shock, we enjoyed the hotel very much. It was new, so clean, and beds were very comfortable. We had a room that had 2 queen beds, plus another area with a sectional sofa and another tv. I think any group with small children would have loved that room and the tv channels catered to kids! We didn't understand how the tv remote worked, so when I called the front desk a very pleasant young woman came up and showed us how it worked. Although that was wonderful, I think printed instructions by the tv would have worked and saved them some time! The breakfast was good....powdered
