Cloudcroft Hostel

I had a wonderful stay at the Cloudcroft Hostel! The space was extremely welcoming and inviting from the moment I arrived. Stephanie, the owner, was so communicative and kind. She showed me around upon arrival and immediately made me feel at home. The other guests were also friendly and added to the warm atmosphere. The hostel itself was clean, quiet, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The outdoor area was beautiful and peaceful, and the location is perfect, just a short distance from the cutest little town of Cloudcroft. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Our stay was absolutely magical! This was my first stay at a hostel and I am so thankful to have had such a memorable experience. Stephanie was so helpful with the booking process, to being on site to greet us and to showing us around and even giving us local recommendations. The grounds were perfectly maintained and the rooms were spotless and welcoming. The guests were kind and respectful. The details and character throughout were thoughtful and unique. We will absolutely stay here again and recommend to anyone looking for a safe and beautiful trip.

Nice, cozy hostel in the foothills. Everyone I met here traveling was super nice and I really felt welcome here. When I originally drove in from Albuquerque it was dark and I was really scratching my head where I had ended up, but upon daylight the next day the drive around High Rolls was gorgeous. Loved the energy and quietude, surpasses your average hotel anyday. Stephanie was very welcoming and I was able to use a mini circular sled to slide down the hills at White Sands. The design of the hostel was intentional and cozy, just clean up after yourself and you will be fine!

Such a great stay. Stephanie has a really special place here and she’s very helpful/knowledgeable about the area. It’s a cute place, very clean, and there are clear instructions everywhere. The mattress was HEAVEN! I stayed here for my visit to White Sands and it was perfect. Will definitely be staying here again if I’m back in this area in the future!! Thanks Stephanie!!

Nestled into a quiet, peaceful place right outside the "bustle" of Cloudcroft. Beautiful drive heading in - lots of wildlife to see. Stephanie was very kind and inviting, offering great info on things to do in the area. The hard work they put into building the hostel shows. Unique, inviting, and has little trail to stretch your legs after a long drive. It was clean and quiet during our stay. You'd forget there were other people there if you didn't see them. If we ever make it back out that way, we would definitely stay here again!
