Cloud Climbing Railroad Cabin and RV Park

This was a great location for us to explore Cloudcroft and Alamogordo. Full hook up. Neat to hear the elk. It is right on the road so there was cars and a few horns going off on a Saturday night. Will love to stay again if we need to be out there. Very nice people. Beautiful commons area with waterfall. Love that there was a grill and fire pit.

We spent two nights here. We have a small 17-ft camper and the spots worked well for us. But they are tight if you have a bigger rig! We loved that each site had fire pits, bbq grill and a picnic table. It’s right on the road and it’s a little busy but didn’t bother us. It’s small and quaint compared to bigger RV parks, which we look for and enjoyed!

Stayed in our RV here. Super cute and quaint spot. Has great hiking trails. My kids loved the swings and waterfall in the yard area. It is small, but well maintained. Would be a very cute place for a nice venue.

We were welcomed by the extremely nice and helpful owners. I didn’t bring all the right electrical hookups due to this being our first time ever out in our RV and they did not hesitate to make sure I got all hooked up. They were even willing to run to the store if what they had didn’t work. Awesome grass area to walk the dog and let the kids run around. Trampoline, tire swing, adult swings on location. Reservations were pain free online. The kids love it!! Right by the highway but not loud.

An absolutely fantastic campground! The owners were friendly and accommodating. The property is beautiful and they do an outstanding job maintaining it. I had no problem backing in my 42ft toy hauler while the owner helped guide me in. Highly recommend!
