Clifton RV Park, Clifton TX

Great RV Park, largest and most level spaces I've seen. Would have rated 5 stars but park doesn't have restrooms/showers, something virtually every RV park has nowadays. No pool either, but lots of parks don't have pools. Owner is very friendly and accommodating, we'll be back next time in area visiting family.

We arrived here earlier than we expected, but were welcomed as if we were doing them a favor anyway. We have a big rig which often makes our parking and stays challenging. The owners also RV and fully understand the challenges. We were assigned a 137' pull-through spot! It has to be the largest we've had in over 2 years' full-time traveling! There are 2 sewer hookups, 30/50 amp and water on the gravel site. It appears they can refill propane. They've planted grass, but the severe drought is not allowing it to appear. We do have a water feature, horseshoe pits, several vintage decorations and plenty of space to walk the pup. We were also told of several sites to visit in the area. My only negative is I reserved 3 nights; I should have made it a week!

Great park. Quiet. Good mix of really nice long term and short term guests. Great and welcoming owner. Personal attention when you need it. Guaranteed us to have at least overflow space when we called and asked just before the Eclipse, but stayed in touch and moved us to the first hookups to come available. Steve called with that good news just an hour before our arrival. Wonderful four day stay.
