Clayton Park RV Escape

My husband and I were traveling thru Pennsylvania on our way back from our east coast adventure. By mid October a lot of RV parks are closed for the season. Fortunately for us Clayton RV Park was still answering the phone. This resort is secluded and quiet on a picturesque lake. The bathrooms, showers and laundry room were all immaculate and furnished with shampoo, and body wash. I have NEVER experienced this before. The owners, a husband and wife team were so kind and helpful. I would highly recommend this park to everyone and hope that I am able to come back again and stay for awhile. I have been to many RV parks in the last couple years. I would without question rate Clayton Park a 10/10.

You would think you escaped to the mountains hours outside of any civilization. Tranquil and peaceful. Staff is great. Facilities are clean. Weekly live music, games, and an amazing swimming pool make for an awesome experience for all ages.

A really really nice CG, wish we could have stayed longer but time only allowed us to spend one afternoon and night. Melanie opened the gate for us and escorted us to our site which was manicured and flat. Views of the lake, evening sky and colorful leaves were stunning. Enjoyed the walking trail and wildlife figures carved from wood, the eagle at the entrance was especially striking. Wish we had been there when musicians visited the "studio" beside the lake, what a great evening that would make. Camp store was well stocked with necessities for snacking and/or fishing, had some interesting souvenirs also. Verizon cell signal was weak but their wi-fi was treetop tall. If in the area again we would definitely make this our place to stay.

This is a very nice, clean, and quiet park. My wife and I stayed one night in our camper. The bathrooms were immaculate & the showers were clean and hot. The overnight pull through sites are set up a little wonky and are very close together. I felt bad making a fire in our fire pit because it was only about 3 feet from our neighbors camper and the smoke was going right in his window. I also wish that there was some type of grate for the purposes of cooking on the open fire. (Fritz & Robin 8/26)

Made an overnight stop off the interstate. Had a perfect pull thru the worked perfectly for our 43 class A towing. Did not have to unhook car. We'll kept, peaceful, quite, lake setting gated. A little far off the interstate and don't know anything about things to do in the area, but would definitely come back. Very peaceful!
