Clarion Pointe - Cherokee, NC

Stayed there about two weeks ago on a trip through the Smokey Mountains. Our room was excellent and front desk was helpful. Breakfast selection was pretty well limited to waffles and cereal, and the breakfast area room temperature was very chilly.

After reading the reviews, I was a bit concerned about staying here, but I have to say it was a really nice place to stay. My partner and I had been in Cherokee and needed a room so we booked this hotel. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. It was really a quiet hotel and I think we will stay again the next time we are headed to Cherokee.

The room was clean. The front desk attendant was nice and informative.

It was a pretty nice room and had a good bed to sleep in. It also had plenty of USB ports on the nightstand. The staff was kind of friendly but not great. Every other hotel we stayed at on our week long trip allowed us to park our motorcycle under the canopy but they wouldn't allow it there so we had to park in the parking lot in the rain. I wouldn't say they are exactly motorcycle friendly based on that.

When arrived I had purchased two side by side rooms the rooms were 10 rooms apart moved on from that because they couldn’t resolve it. checked in went into the room heat didn’t work (lows of 25) had to get a new room my worry is why wasn’t that seen during cleaning. Also one of the reasons I got this hotel was because it had a gym listed when I asked about the gym was told it was closed due to construction witch would of been ok if it was listed on the website. Also they have a bug problem had signs up all over talking about it’s normal to have bugs just avoid them they live there also. Overall very poor experience
