City of Au Gres Riverfront Campground

We were passing thru the area, and stayed here a week. Was a nice, quite campground until Monday. The business next door was awfully noisy. Started at 7:00 to the latest 12:30am. But the staff was friendly. Park is clean. We entered the soup competition. Hubby almost made potato leek soup. Wish we did. 3 potato soups won. Lol. But was a great time. We kayaked from the ramp. We even seen some northern lights while here. Would come back maybe for a couple of days next time.

Been a seasonal member here for quite a few years, and this campground is a hidden gem. Family friendly for sure! Camp staff and management are courteous and care about the appearance of the entire facility. Cleanest restrooms/showers you will find anywhere. We enjoy our Au Gres family!!!

Each time I come here in summer, this little campground on the banks of the Au Gres River keeps getting better. A few years ago it was a new, and clean, bathroom/shower complex. This year, it is totally new internet service to all guests that actually works. This is an amazing thing when it comes to campgrounds, which normally for some reason feel that proper internet connection is merely an afterthought. The campground is near the state boat launch for Saginaw Bay's walleye fishery, and also sells such things as kid treats, and yes, crawlers, for fishing.

This is a clean campground . Bath house is clean ; staff is really friendly 5 stars. Our first stay was in. September now back for the halloween weekend festivities.

Sorry I can’t agree with you about this campground, love the location, the cleanliness and maintenance. The people here are wonderful and friendly. Would recommend going there for all types of camping and families. The management is amazing and helpful and plan fun activities for everyone.
