City Center Motel

I purchased 3 nights here and was late coming in. Nowhere online did it say that I had to be at the office by a certain time to get my room key. It also did NOT have it stated anywhere that there would be no one, not a one, zero, zilch, nadda single employee in sight during night shift, no after hours phone number to call. So there just wasn't a night shift at all... I kept calling the only number available only to hear the front desk phone endlessly ringing from my end of the line and from right outside the dark and unlit front desk/lobby area. Never got refunded. Every hotel in town was full up for whatever holiday it was and we ended up at the old Super 8 in the middle of the night and the night clerk there was nice enough to let us stay the rest of that night in their spare room that

The landlady Lisa put my hard earned 1200 USD into her nasty pocket without providing me a place to stay. Never returned 600 USD deposit despite the fact that I (in the agreed time) returned her the key from the dirty nasty place that she offered me to stay in.

This place was just ew. We got stuck here last minute after another motel screwed up our reservation. The beds were clean but everything else was so dusty and the nightstand drawer had God knows what in it. The mini fridge was broken and moldy. The lady from the front desk bring another mini fridge in, which my husband had to help with. The door was also broken and looked like it had been kicked in at one point.

This was the worst experience we've ever had with a motel or hotel. We arrived in the evening, and the office's open sign was on, and there was a phone number listed on the door. A man answered, and I said we have a reservation and are here to check in. He said, "we are closed," and I said ok, but we have a reservation. Is there a key box or code we use to get into our room? And he replied, "Nope. We are closed, " and I asked if there is someone on standby for situations like this? And he said, "No, come back tomorrow," and then I asked if I would be getting a refund then, and he said, "Nope. My daughter and her boyfriend stayed there last night. The room was not cleaned at all. The sheets were dirty the bed itself was gross. There was no toilet paper at all. Just a very disgusting room. When she asked for a refund the manager was very rude and refused to give her one. I would never suggest this hotel to anyone.
