Cisco Beach Campground

Camped here for two nights. Great campground with easy access to the clear blue waters of Bear lake. Great views, cold lake water. The only downsides I thought of for this campground is there are very few trees for shade. That said there are many campgrounds with built in awnings. Also, the campground is very rocky so driving steaks to full depth can be challenging. Get here early - Thursday at latest if you want your pick of campgrounds rather than leftovers.

Clean and well kept. The DNR person kept passing by to make sure everything was good at all of the sites. Safe area. Everyone we talked to at neighboring sites were very nice.

We dry camped in a 30ft RV at Cisco Beach, which was $20 for non residents. Great spot lots of vault toilets, which were clean. Shelters with picnic table and fire rings for each site. We had the place to ourselves. Disappointed with the amount of rubbish in the camp sites and along the beach especially given there were plenty of dumpsters. No dumpstation.

Rocky beaches and camp grounds, don't plan on sleeping on the floor of a tent. No hookup for a camper, but camp sites big enough to park 6-10 of them. Every vehicle they charge extra for, so having friends over is still going to cost them, even though you already paid for the site. At least it's right on the water, even if you can't launch a boat from there.
