I was so impressed with Cindy's Motel. The room was recently remodeled and had new furniture, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, ice maker. Cindy's brought back memories of the single story motels that we stayed in when I was a kid. Adjacent to the motel is a great Cafe that makes a wonderful breakfast. I will be in Mayo again for business in 4 weeks and I have already booked my stay.

As always it was a good experience this was not my first time staying here, thats is why we returned here cus I really like it, we came down for a wedding in Mayo from Plant City, which is a 3 nd half hour drive, nd when you are tired nd just want to get some rest, who needs luxury. You just want a place that feels like home away from home with everything you need a nice bed nd clean towels nd a very clean room, we love it here, so for anyone that is traveling down this way, nd you need a place to crash nd get some rest this is the place for you, nd so quite thats what I love, nd room #8 is the best. I have stayed at this motel a few nights a year for the past decade or so when I come to Mayo to hunt or visit family. While I've always enjoyed the very relaxed atmosphere, the new owners have made some dramatic improvements to the rooms. The motel is clean and well maintained. Everything works just fine and the staff are always friendly and as accommodating as they can possibly be. The other big plus the Mayo Cafe right across the parking lot. Some of the best southern comfort food you can find anywhere. But understand what you're getting. This is a well-kept but older motel dating back from the days before you pulled off the interstate and booked into a Marriot, Hilton or some other national brand hotel. If that's what you're looking for, Lake City is about 30 minutes away. Fo

Aside from the shower having a little dust, and hair, this place is clean, cute and quaint. Located in a small historic town. Perfect getaway for us having to travel halfway to meet. Will book again I'm sure.

Your choosing a motel, it doesn't get much better than this. Comfy beds and sheets. Fresh paint and decor. Adjacent to the Mayo cafe/diner and across the street from a store if you forgot anything. Next door to Veteran park has some ancient oak trees that are well cared for and some are very narly. Visiting springs, this is very conveniently located. While much of downtown is historic, many business and left. This is an great way to stay and support local when traveling.
