CINDERELLA MOTEL

To look at the outside one thinks that you are seeing Cinderella as fireplace tending house servant. But inside the rooms are clean, attractive and fresh smelling. One step above Motel 6. People are nice and readily available. One of my employees forgot her computer and they saved it for her. Comfortable beds and good towels. Though one of our staff had no towels the first night...

I needed some place to sleep. No there was no pool or continental breakfast. No the room was not plush. But it was $55/night. And I didn't need anything but a place to shower, lay my head, watch tv and surf the net. And, it is just fine for that. I honestly can't see paying the rates at the place across the street when I don't plan on doing anything there but sleeping.... or something else in bed that still does not require a pool or breakfast. It was quiet by 10 pm on a Saturday night, too! I'd give that an extra half a star if i was able to.

Truth up front: We did not stay at the Cinderella. We paid for the room (foolishly, before seeing it), but when we saw it we decided that we just could not stay there. On a positive note, our payment was refunded without a lot of questions, although not very cheerfully. Ours would have been the Cinderella room.The beds were sagging. A bare light bulb over each bed, surrounded by some sort of wire fixture; neither bulb worked. Old style fat TV in a beat up piece of furniture. A damaged straight chair. No coffee maker, no anything else. Perhaps it might be okay for someone desperate for a place to stay, if offered at a price low enough for what it was. The price was around $70 -- cheap, but not cheap enough for the tiny room with no amenities. Even the motel's sign was shabby -- on

I booked the room, the owner was pleasant. However when I got to my room. It was extremely hot. I figured it would take a while before it cooled down. NEVER HAPPENED. It was still 99 degrees in the room. I called the owner and told him. He insisted it was the weather, and the A.C was working. Mine and my kids faces were red and the room was still so hot. I finally made the executive decision to pack mine and my kids things and go elsewhere. If you dont mind being extremely hot and can handle sleeping in 100 degree room. Book away. Otherwise dont book this place.

First time staying in one of the more affordable motels in Wasco. The motel is ran by a family with a very rude daughter. She intimidates you by giving nasty looks and responses. She definitely did not make me, my girlfriend, or my guests feel welcome in the two days we stayed there. Before checking out, I had asked for a late check-out because I woke up late and was allowed a half hour. Before that time had even reached she was yelling outside at my guests to leave already. Maybe they didn't relay the message to her about the late check-out, but I went out to tell her she was being very rude. You feel like you can't ask her anything.
