Very friendly owners. Amazing service! Perfect placement for Ocean Shores. Close to the beach, convention center and nice quiet area.

An older hotel, all the rooms are different. Visit the property's website for details. We booked a suite - Room#3 - that included a full kitchen (except no conventional oven) and a separate bedroom. Bathroom had shower, no bathtub. The kitchen includes basic cookware, cutlery, dishes, etc, they expect you to wash up afterward. ||||The suite was stuffed with about as much furniture as could possibly fit. But it worked, we enjoyed our stay. It was great to be able to prepare some of our own meals, as the dining in Ocean Shores is okay but nothing special. They have a charcoal BBQ for guests, which I used one afternoon to grill some chicken (they prefer you bring your own charcoal, which I knew in advance). We would not stay here again you can read my comments underneath the room. The price was to high and didn't have no air conditioner. We also had to take our own garbage out of the room and bought a fan because it was warm in the room.

The location and price are the best parts of the motel. We loved how close it was to the beach and the price is hard to beat. However, there are quite a few inklings we had about the place. Before even walking in there is rust lining the front doors and the handles to all the rooms. When walking into the room a strong pungent smell of mildew hits your nose. The carpet is coming up in some spots, causing a tripping hazard. The walls are dirty and dusty, there are dirty spots on the headboard and the sheets are stained yellow from previous tenants. Dead spiders and cobwebs line many spots on the ceiling. You can hear people in their rooms, as well as seagulls stomping around and squawking on the roof early in the morning, making it a bit difficult at times to get a good night's sleep. We

This was the most economical option for our family vacation. We got more than what we expected! I loved making breakfast in the fully equipped kitchenette and the proximity to the beach is excellet! It was cozy and relaxing to hear the ocean from our room. The management was kind and courteous. We will definitely stay again if we revisit Ocean Shores.
