If you are looking for a modern upgrade you are going to be greatly disappointed... This place feel a little haunted yet full of classic charm. Back in the day this was my after party party hang out. Everynow and then I come and stay for the night... Reminiscing good old day when we used to be so young and full of life. The drinks here is very strong. Service is good. The old smell though made me wants to start smoking again. Unforgettable Chateau marmont vibe.

Chateau Marmont is all about atmosphere and service, and on both counts my recent stay delivered in a big way. From the moment I arrived, every interaction felt warm, professional, and quietly attentive, starting with the gentlemen at the driveway and valet through to check in, the hotel staff, and the restaurant team. They provided some of the best service I have experienced in a long time, striking the right balance between relaxed and highly competent. The rooms themselves are nothing to write home about, and the carpet has clearly seen better days. You get the sense that the property is due for some thoughtful investment and refresh, and I genuinely hope they direct some capital into the accommodations soon. That said, Chateau Marmont is a place you come to for the vibe as much as, if

Due to its reputation, I've had this hotel on my radar for years, so when we were back in LA I booked our first night here.|Having travelled from the UK, we were tired when we arrived, but received a warm welcome from all the staff.|We were shown to our room on the floor above reception. It was the cheapest room and was a decent size. |The bathroom was very dated, I think they would call it shabby chic.|There was a really good complimentary snack bar, plus a book on the hotel to take away.|We weren't hungry, so went down to the bar for drinks, after being shown the pool area. We were given a great spot in the bar to do a bit of people watching.|We slept reasonably well, but woke up a bit early due to jet lag.|We had breakfast in the hotel and took the opportunity to wander around the po

Service was not what I expect from a high end restaurant. The food was good, presentation, not so great on the 2 fish dishes we got. The inside is truly beautiful. Dary and mysterious but also very cozy. We were there for lunch, but I would love to see it at night. I truly enjoyed the history here.

from the moment we walked in the door, we were greeted by friendly staff that set the tone for the rest of the evening Chef Ozzie came out and told us that our meals were going to be taking care of that. We would not have to choose anything he gave us an experience on one of our most sacred nights our anniversary that I will never forget the food was phenomenal. It was coursed out appropriately. The service was phenomenal. I can’t praise this place enough never given a six star, but if I did, it would be for this place.
