Okay where to begin... the lady at the front desk was sleeping when we got there, and then had the nerve to say something about us waking her up! First red flag 🚩.she was also wearing no shoes and served us barefoot. Then she couldn't find our room key, finds it. And tells us where to go. We get not even halfway up the stairs and there are spiders, crawling everywhere. They were all outside and on our door. Second red flag 🚩. We get into the room and the door seemed to have been kicked down a time or two ago. The blankets and sheets did not match the pictures online.. it was as if "Hills have eyes" and "wrong turn" meet. Grabbed a cheap hotel while passing through. Room #620 came with: A collapsed light in the corner. Broken fridge. Plugged it in and it just made a terrible noise. Broken AC. Filter removed and placed on the bench. Turned it on and it just started banging a bearing or belt or something. Stains on the wall. A terrible mold/mildew smell that no exaggeration made my eyes water. I'm not smell or mold sensitive. I couldn't breathe after just 5 minutes. The smoke detectors chirping. The neighbor in the hallway had their door open and were smoking / burning incense . Everyone was nice and pleasant including the nice lady at the front desk. We just wanted a bed, a toilet, and a shower and were happy to bring our dogs but the pet fee: anything our dogs could do to this place would be an i

Lady was super nice to me. They didn't have any water while I stayed here couldn't take a shower after work and it really sucked I did have towels couldn't use them lol

We stopped here while on a motorcycle ride down to NC in October 2024. We stopped because it was close and inexpensive. It was difficult to find. Once we found the lobby, the outside looked old and a bit rundown, but it was rural West Virgina- I’ve stayed in older motels and not had an issue. The folks at the front desk were nice. We saw a roach crawling on the wall, but it was only the one, and WTH- we’re near wooded areas. They put us in the back in a room, we had to go up this horribly steep hill- fine. Paving was awful, again, whatever. We get to our room. We do the normal “pull the sheets and look for bedbugs.” Surprised not to see any on the mattress. The room reeks of old cigarettes. We stayed here last weekend. The lady that came to our room to check on us was simply amazing! She was so sweet and kind hearted. The gentleman that was with her also was very kind. You dont find many places with staff like that! I have difficulty walking and she took time out from her day just to help me to our vehicle, She held on to my arm to help balance me and she didn't let go until my husband opened the door. She made sure i was situated before she closed the door. She was very sweet and I appreciated her!
