Chalet Family Campground

We love camping here. We try to visit at least once or twice a year. The family that runs it are sweet and helpful. A couple of times I have had issues with my camper and Blake come out and helps me out. As simple as backing it up to why my camper is not holding a charge (turns out bad battery). Monica runs the front and she always has a smile on her face. There isnt a bad spot to park and hook up. They charge really fair and it's full hook up with starlink. True camping princess.

I have stayed here several times with the shortest stay being juat under a week. The owners are some of the nicest, most helpful and down to earth people. They take pride in the property, atmosphere and family values. We have booked several stays and will continue to visit the Chalet. The property is always kept up, the spots are spacious, great amenities, and a family friendly atmosphere with no loud and obnoxious residents. Did I mention the price is super reasonable, especially in this day and economy. Can't recommend enough.

If you find yourself traveling through central Idaho and need a peaceful place to rest, Chalet Family Campground in Donnelly is the place. It’s a family owned and operated campground, Monica and Blake greeted us with warm smiles, helpful directions with a sincere interest in making sure we felt at home. The park is an older campground but very well taken care of. They have worked hard to improve things to give you an enjoyable visit. We enjoyed meeting new friends around the campfire and family movie night. Donnelly is a charming small town with easy access to lakes, trails and shopping so there’s no shortage of things to do. McCall is just a short drive away. I highly recommend this campground. We traveled in a Class A 37 foot with a tow. Our site was a gravel back in with a concret

We loved camping here! The staff were very helpful and friendly! They had potted plants all over the campground. They had activities planned on Friday and Saturday for families and kids! We loved having grass and trees for shade! They even picked up our garbage each morning! When a large outfit pulled in, two staff guys came to help them back in!

This place was an amazing hidden treasure. We didnt have any reservations at other campgrounds, so we were in a panic looking for places to stay. We were blessed with the staff and the place. It offers showers, working bathrooms, they had daily activities if anyone was interested in participating in. It was such a friendly place as well as beautifully maintained.
