Century Park Hotel

Tell you what, I’ve had some rough hotel experiences in my life. Wife and I stayed at a La Quinta in Texas one night and watched Amarillo PD do a felony stop in the parking lot as we were checking in. Found a still-drying bloodstain on the carpet of my room at a hotel in Philly one time, too. I could go on and on. ||But at least I could get a little sleep at those places. ||Traffic noise in my room was so loud I might as well have been trying to sleep out on the sidewalk. Asked the clerk if the noise was that bad at every room in the hotel, he was noncommittal.||A/C didn’t work in my room. I tried to suffer through for the first night, but it was awful. During the next day, it was 62 degrees outside, and 78 degrees in my room. I was actively sweating. Even if I wanted to open the windows a

Stayed off and on for several months for business. The hotel staff was extremely courteous and helpful. Valet was great as well. Fast to get the vehicles. The hotel managers made accommodation for us to make sure we had a great experience while we stayed. The view from the suites were great. Noise from traffic was not as bad but it is LA so you're going to get that anywhere here. Close to mall and restaurants. We will definitely recommend this place to everyone. Cleaning staff was very wonderful placed extra waters in our rooms and extra coffee pods. Freshed our rooms up daily

Positive: the location is nice, and the price is reasonable Negative: the venting in the bathroom is weak

My room was nice and clean and check-in was a breeze. The best part was the help that I got from Nico. I needed to extend my stay in LA given the bad snowstorm out east and the fact that I could not return home. During this time Nico bent over backwards to accommodate my stay and my requests. Hands-down, some of the best customer service I have ever received. Stay here with confidence.

1) There was a dirty towel left on the furniture when I walked in (photo) 2) The mug that came with the room was dirty (although wrapped in cellophane it still had left over dried up contents from previous use) - photo 3) The walls of the bathroom were dirty / need repainting. 4) You can hear virtually everything from the room above - zero soundproofing. 5) The front desk team was great which is the only reason for two stars instead of one. 6) The front door is out of commission I paid $250 for one night and quite frankly for this price, I wish I had gone somewhere else. For the experience I had I feel like $80 would have been generous.
