Cedar Lodge RV Park

Cedar lodge was a fantastic place to stay as the base for exploring the Lassen National park. It must be very newly renovated because the room looked completely new and much nicer than the photos made it look. Also, I was able to charge my Tesla there which helped us navigate the park with confidence, which was nice. Highly recommended 😊

My husband and I went to Chester to attend a family reunion. We wanted a place that was close to my husband's cousin's home and the cousin recommended this Motel. From the outside I must admit it doesn't look like much, but the insides of the rooms are a different story. We could tell that remodeling and upgrades had taken place. The bathrooms had ALL new fixtures. Very nice! The bed was very comfortable and there was a ceiling fan and table fan that we used to keep ourselves cool in the evenings. We were there just after 4th of July. We slept with the windows open and both fans going. It was quite comfortable! We were there for about 4 days, if I recall. We enjoyed our time there. We stayed at this campsite with a small hotel near Lake Almanor and had a great experience! The location is beautiful — right near the lake with easy access to outdoor activities like fishing, hiking, and boating. The staff was friendly, helpful, and clearly working hard to make improvements. The campground is in the middle of renovations, so some areas are still a work in progress, but it’s easy to see that it’s going to be even better very soon. We really appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and the chance to enjoy the scenery. The small hotel rooms were clean and comfortable — a nice option if you’re not camping. We’ll definitely come back once the renovations are complete

A group of friends and I were riding through Chester, CA on a motorcycle trip looking for a place to stay for the night. Everything was booked in town and surrounding areas. Noticed Cedar Lodge RV Park and stopped in. They were not officially open, but they allowed us to stay anyway. Most hospitable owners and crew. Rooms are new and fresh. Grounds are very clean and quiet. Great little gem of a place! Definitely recommend if your passing through or headed to the nearby lake for vacation!

Really great people doing an awesome job with this place! We stayed in the RV campground with brand new full hookup services in a convenient location to anywhere around Lake Almanor. New trees planted and fresh gravel laid. Very happy we stayed here!
