My sister and I randomly stumbled across Catalpa when we were exploring Arrow Rock. I have to say we weren't disappointed. We ordered a double pepperoni pizza to try. It was absolutely delicious! The ratio of sauce to cheese to crust was perfect. You could tell the sauce was homemade and the cheese had a great pull. The service was great as well. They were extremely friendly. I highly recommend checking out Catalpa.
I’ve eaten here a few times and I’m never disappointed. The place was packed but the food still comes out quickly, the service and atmosphere is friendly; and the food is extraordinary. There is seating outdoors in the front, indoor seating, and a covered porch in the back for diners as well. Every pizza has a unique taste and every slice is packed with flavor.

I would say this could be a destination restaurant, worth traveling to Arrowrock just for the restaurant, although the Lyceum Thester was also wonderful.
We decided to eat at Catalpa after attending a local event. Turns out, this is a great idea! We were fortunate that we went when we did because the restaurant filled up quickly. The service was excellent even though they were packed. I had the Santa Fe burger and the spicy pickles and onions for the side. My wife and son shared the three cheese pizza. The food took time coming, but I don't hold that against them. At times, it was standing room only. The burger came on a flat bread style bun. The meat filled the bread completely, and I truly enjoyed the jalapeños and the sauce. The pickles were crunchy and delicious with a mild heat. The pizza was the star of the show with, almost, cartoon like strings of cheese stretching from the slices. The flavors were amazing, and the little
