Borgmans Bed & Breakfast

Quaint and comfortable B&B in historical Arrow Rock. The owner, Kathy, is part of the Arrow Rock Historical Society and will be able to tell you neat stories of the town while eating her amazing home made cinnamon rolls. She even made them dairy free for our visit as I'm lactose intolerant. The house is walk-able to all the attractions but set off from the main road to keep it cozy and truly a great get away.

My husband and I stayed at this lovely establishment for 5 nights in December 2018. Kathy Bergman is gracious, wonderful, and has a wealth of historical knowledge of this tiny spot in Missouri, and the surrounding area. The bedroom we had was large and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was very good and Kathy’s company during the meal was a good way to start our day. We would like to return some day.

We wanted to get away from stress and unwind in a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere, and that is just what we found. Borgman's is comfortable, cozy, and the antiques, quilts, and pictures are interesting. We were happy to be away from TV, traffic, noise, etc... but glad there was internet to check in on things. Breakfast was fruit and cinnamon rolls- very tasty! Like a stay at your favorite Grandma's- if Grandma was active, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Kathy is a terrific resource about Arrow Rock and the surrounding attractions. Arrow Rock itself is beautiful, historic, and in the midst of state parks. Go to Borgman's Bed and Breakfast!!! A charming historical home, our room was filled with antiques and air conditioning. Kathy Borgman served the most amazing breakfast, the caramel/cinnamon rolls are to die for.... She is very knowledgeable about the area and the history of Arrow Rock. The only caution I would have is that I have the largest suitcase made -- which easily went up the stairs, but a normal sized suitcase would have been easier. We'll definitely be back!

I was privileged to spend 3 wonderful days and 2 nights with Kathy Borgman. She is an incredible host, great cook, and terrific tour guide. She most graciously shared the local history of Arrow Rock and this part of central Missouri. Her kind, gentle demeanor is a welcome respite from the world.
