Castle Hill Resort and Spa

We stayed in one of the hotel condo options & the place was outstanding. Well constructed & quiet with so many amenities on site: pool, hot tub, sauna, spa, restaurant, and event center. The condo was super spacious for our party of 4. Also great location about 5-7 min drive from cute downtown of Ludlow & 10-15 min to Okemo for skiing. Would definitely stay here again.

As a snowboarder/skier, there's nothing better than being able to check into a resort after a long day on the slopes... to wine, dine, and soak away your day in a hot tub & heated pool! Castle Hill resort & spa is a FABULOUS place to stay if you appreciate historic buildings, and find antiques, big beautiful fireplaces, rich history & creaky floorboards charming! This castle has so many original features to see, and enjoy, its like stepping back in time to the early 1900s! There's a GORGEOUS library filled with 100 year old books, romantic sconces, plush seating and a seemingly never ending authentic fire place burning, that in my opinion puts this place over the top! We had a small wedding at the Castle. The location was beautiful and very private.|Lisa Cormier was an amazing wedding coordinator. She accommodated our group which included babies, toddlers, pre-teens, teens, and my 95 year old grandmother. She was very responsive and made everything perfect. I couldn’t have done it without her. Fonze, the chef, provided one of the best meals I’ve ever had. We will definitely be back for dinner. Even with the menu being fine dining, the portions are very generous and all of our guests loved it. Our waitstaff, Kelly and her counterpart (didn’t catch her name) were also amazing! I had the most amazing experience at the Castle Hill Spa. Anne gave me one of the best massages of my life. She was communicative and flexible to my needs (I had a very sore muscle post-skiing). The pressure was spot on and the technique was impeccable. In addition to that, Eli was incredibly helpful at reception. He answered my questions with knowledge, patience and friendliness!

Whoever gives a good review to this place never left their own house which is probably in the middle of nowhere!!!! This place is falling apart!!! They call it “historic” but the truth is that the wallpaper, although “historic “ is completely damaged. Same with the bathroom, furniture, and every thing you look at. Our room was smelly. The sheets and towels were clean though. They have not washed the windows probably in years. Although they claim it’s a 4 stars, they don’t come to make your bed in the morning or replace towels or amenities. The crowd in the pool was disgusting. I suspect they let people stay there who don’t have the right. Some people were hanging out there with their own towels making their own picnic. If they had the right to be at the pool they would have been using the
