Castle Air Museum RV Park

This was interesting, I think if they offered guided tours it could be way better. Also, you cant climb up to any of the planes. The best part for me was the indoor museum at the end. It's a lot of walking outside so bring comfortable shoes. They do offer scooters for people who need assistance walking long distances. A little pricey in my opinion. I paid $36 for one adult and a teen child.

It was a great day to go see the planes. You never truly appreciate the advancement in aircraft technology until you see them all in one place. The sheer size of a few of them leave you in complete awe. My favorite was the SR-71.

Check in was easy. The guy saw me and brought an adapter to convert the single 50 amp that was available to the 30 amp connection that I needed. He let me know the wifi name, no password, and if you get space #7 like I did, the router was right between 7 & 8. It was a nice, quiet space away from the main road. The Castle Museum is nearby and worth the visit.

It's about Real History. I had a blast, even though it was 112° out there. Very helpful and very knowledgeable young lady at the gift shop.🥇 They even had a F 16/ Air Force One/ SR 17 supper cool. There was restrooms and air conditioned museum.

Large assortment of WWII Era and modern aircraft with a great little museum and gift shop. The folks who run it are Veterans who are as friendly as they are knowledgeable. Must see if you are in the area.
