As you drive up you meet the nicest night clerk ever. Benjamin was funny, efficient, and gave us great tips on local restaurants. The rooms were nice but had some issues. The shower tile had been damaged and poorly patched. There were wide areas of grout patch that looked a little cracked. The floor in my cousin's room had a lot of loose tile throughout the room. Walking on it was noisy and felt like the tiles might break. The cleaning staff did an excellent job refreshing our rooms. The staff overall provided excellent service. The hotel itself is very nice. The pool area is large and nicely decorated. I would not recommend the restaurant for breakfast. We waited 20 minutes to get served with menus. 15 minutes for coffee. Then it took 45 minutes to get our order of eggs, hashbrowns, panca

We have stayed here several times and had past positive experiences. Most recently we did not have hot water for the shower 4 nights in a row which was highly disappointing! I question what’s going on overall as well as the food service has gone down hill. |Good staff who seem to care although the property has gone down hill from a management and up keep perspective. I hope they can turn it around!

Had a great five days here. Loved the resort and the staff. Chef Rolf’s restaurant was delicious. The best part about my stay was interacting with the staff. Doreen, Renee, Ashley, Kelly and Chef were terrific to deal with each day. From cooking to hosting to serving they all worked hard to make me feel at home. The hotel staff headed by Mo the manager was attentive. Any request I had was gladly attended to. Nicole, Nan, Luda and Benjamin were all wonderful both professionally and friendly. Loved the heated pool and the rum punch ! Location is great for both Venice and Sarasota. Lots of good restaurants in the area as well. Can’t wait to return next year.

I stayed here for 3 nights when it was extremely cold outside so the tiki bar and crowds were not around the pool. The rooms were very clean, remodeled, and service of the staff was awesome. I did eat in the restaurant one night, and even though it’s not with the resort and they were short handed, they did a very nice job and super friendly. The food was awesome! I will definitely stay again this time next year, but may get a room without a pool view in case the crowds are back and the pool is loud at night with music and people having fun until late. I will probably be one of those people down by the pool enjoying a nice night. What a super cool space they have.
