Cascade Mountain Suites - Mt. Baker Hotel

Heather and Brandon make you feel welcome and cozy here, like you're friends rather than customers. They make a good team and enjoy what they do. They have worked hard on this historic building. Aside from some decking and stair wood that needs to be replaced, this was a unique experience for a very reasonable price. You basically get an apartment, not one room, a living room, hallway, large bathroom, and bedroom. The living room and bedroom both have a TV. There's a microwave, minifridge, and bar sink with a counter. And it was CLEAN-- not half-clean like a lot of hotel rooms, but they even cleaned spots on the carpet before arrival. This is an interesting hotel and one of the few places to stay in the area. Lots of history here. Only 8 units (I think). We had a huge room with two bedrooms, a living aarea and a small kitchen. Everything was comfortable. Only issue we had was the carpet is stained.

This hotel was the BEST we stayed. It was a pleasant surprise with all listed amenities, super spacious and comfortable. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the Mt Baker Area.

I had a chance to stay there for 3 days last week. If you are traveling through town on your way up the Cascade Highway, or just visiting Concrete for a day/night i recommend staying here. this Hotel is on the main street with many accommodations, including the public Library, movie theater/ice cream parlor, hardware store, laundromat, Florist, a tavern with great food. Concrete is a uniquely small town with friendly people. Yes I would stay there again. A. Anderson

Room was great, spacious and enough for a family of 3. This is not a luxury hotel but has everything you need. Still work in progress as they are trying to update their service. Felt safe and staff were extremely friendly. It was a little street with lots of history. Checkout the bear square right next to the hotel that tells the hstory and also the theatre right across. Enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place for a quiet and memorable stay.
