Cascade Mountain Lodge

Enjoyed talking to the owner and manager upon arrival. Initial impression of the room was nice but further review the furnishings were cheap or not clean... Not even close to 3 star hotel... 2 star at best... Here's the real issue I had... The 3 light fixture over sink was missing a light bulb, the other was burnt out and the one that did work was flashing... I asked the owner/manager for a light bulbs and she said she would have her maintenance person replace the light bulbs .. that never happened... Even when there was store 100 feet away. She never got back to me...

Very bare bones place to stay but clean and comfortable beds. Many things did not work and toilet seat was broken. No personal attention or charm- purely a bed to sleep in. We were there on a Sunday night so no restaurants were open. We ended up at the adjacent Indian restaurant which was very good with nice wait staff and good prices. We couldn’t wait to leave the next morning.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The room was very nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, we didn’t have the screen on our window and they came and fixed that in no time. The location is amazing

If you’re looking for a very comfortable bed and good AC after a long day in the parks, this is for you. This is a traditional motel style and is very bare bones. The rooms are slightly updated but definitely lack finishes. There’s no bath mat for stepping out of the shower and towels are old and mismatched. But water pressure was nice and plenty of hot water! My biggest complaint is the curtains. They are completely see through to where we could literally read the license plates on the cars from the bed through their curtains. So privacy is definitely an issue. But like previously mentioned - the bed is very comfortable, pillows are nice, and AC runs cold! Just don’t expect hotel style amenities.

This place is more of a motel than a lodge, but the room was clean, renovated inside, spacious, and had comfy beds. The staff was friendly, but absent at times providing a phone number to call. We could’ve used more towels and toilet paper for 4 people staying 5 nights. The lodge itself was located in a strip of shops including a few restaurants and a grocery store. Guests seem to be a mix of national park goers and city road workers, but all were quiet in the night/morning. The vibe in general was a comfortable place to stay after a long day of hiking, and that was all. Honestly, the website made it seem better than it was. But given how hard it is to find lodging near the North Cascades, this one provides well enough.
