Casa Lu-An Motel

Casa Lu-An is decidedly old school; online reservations not possible, I walked up to the office window to get a room for subsequent Saturdays. The Nice Lady quoted me a $100 rate, and asked me to write my name and reservation dates on a piece of paper. She asked for $20 to reserve, which I offered in cash. She wrote "$20 received" on the piece of paper. The outdoor areas are nice and tidy. Parking is at a premium, better arrive early if you want a spot. Came back to the window the following Saturday about 2pm, the Less Nice Gentleman said a room costs $120. "But I left $20 with you a couple days ago!" "I don't know what you're talking about." I've been coming here on and off for almost a yr. The rooms are big and some even have a kitchenette, closet and little hallways. Like an apt. The manager, Vikki, is feisty, friendly, cheerful and always helpful. The rooms are clean as is the entire property. The housekeeper is a very nice lady. If you want to be left alone without room service, she respects that. I highly recommend Casa Luan. King size beds, AC, Free Wifi, and flat screen with cable, all at a reasonable price.

I was quoted $95, I was charged $125.40. The room is adequate and the bathroom seems reasonably clean although the shower floor was somewhat filthy. TV didn't work, no phone and no Internet. The chairs belong in the dumpster, which is probably where they came from. The table had trash on it, I think the housekeeper forgot to clean up after herself at lunch. The bed was large and firm and the sheets seemed clean. AC/heater was really loud. There was a working mini fridge and a small functioning microwave.

This place was so bad!!! Never come here!! AC and fridge didn’t work the room was hot they didn’t even clean it before we got the room. To make matters worse the door had a prayer to DEATH written all over it…. I had to hide it from my kids so they wouldn’t see it… even the beds were physically hard! I laid down and the bed literally almost fell over because my side tipped down an my wife’s side went up, I ask for a refund and the guy said he couldn’t because I was there 4 hours which wasn’t true I was there only 30 MINUTES!!! Never come here! This is your warning before you think about coming here!! Oh and I almost forgot the black mold that was in the shower…

The cable is disconnected! A bedbug bit me in the wrong place! Don't sit on the poop stained chairs, not even on a folded towel. The shower floor is filthy. The second my husband left, an Indian man tried to get in the door. The coward ran when he saw my expression. The location is great, but expect to pay 125 when they say it will be 95. Fees can't be 30! Bring your own chairs and entertainment. Last guest's leftover food was still on the table. You have to clean the room yourself. The bed is good.
