Carter's Motel & Mobile Village

We stayed here Jan 6 through 8, 2025 because the rate was $80 per night and their avg Travelocity review rating was 8.0. The room was dirty and tiny with almost no place to put your luggage. The bathroom is tiny and disgusting and the moisture never goes away so the toilet seat and floors and showers were always wet.

I checked out of my room 4 minutes late and the owner charged me for a full day. She was unwilling to work with me and unprofessional. As a business owner, I understand the need to make money, but not at the expense of your customers. I will never return to this hotel and will be passing along my terribly unpleasant experience to colleagues, friends, and family.

I liked this little motel. It was reasonably priced. The staff was very friendly. They have a nice pool. It's a little cramped for parking. The room was adequate, and I had everything I needed for a 3 night stay. It was really perfect for what I needed. A clean place to stay for sleeping and getting ready. If you are looking for a place to stay in most of the time you might want to upgrade. I really liked it and I would stay there again. My vacation was going to the beach all day and eating out and then coming back and crashing. Thanks to the staff for a nice stay.

Stayed here for the weekend. Rooms are simple, clean and well kept. Staff was super helpful and friendly. The pool was nice and well maintained. Would definitely stay here again! The only thing I wish there was, a full length mirror. 😊
