Best Western Edgewater Inn

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this Best Western. Our room was immaculate. We stayed in a “handicap” room and it provided the little extra things I would need -for ex. a nice shower that I could easily get into & grab bars in the bath area walls for my security.

Our 5 night stay was wonderful! We had hoped to stay in New Smyrna Beach however, being Datona 500 weekend there was nothing available in our price range. Edgewater is about 4 miles from our desired area so we gave this hotel a shot.|Our room was quiet, clean and appeared to be recently updated. The bed was comfortable with ample pillows. Housekeeping was very accommodating and |available on OUR schedule! |Breakfast had an ample selection. There was an egg choice, breakfast meat choice, cold cereal, frest fruit, yogurt and a waffle station. It was not a full blown buffet but more that enough to start your day!|Yes, the pool is in the middle of the parking lot however, it is surrounded by a neatly trimmed privacy hedge and fence. The water was clear and there were enough lounge chair

Positive: Breakfast was Excellent- lots of choices.We were welcome to get tea,coffee, juice at any time.When Elevator broke, the Front Desk automatically arranged to carry up & down our luggage. Negative: ""

My entire stay was good. No problems at all. Plenty of free parking, Breakfast was great, room was very clean. Hallways and entry ways alittle dark for my taste, but not a deal breaker

This is meant as a friendly warning to guests booking during the renovation of the hotel. Our stay was Dec 12. We understand that modernization is necessary and believe the results will be nice, but an out of town person reserving online should be made aware that construction noise should be expected from 8 am till a surprisingly late 7 pm. The very kind attendant explained that warnings were posted in the lobby, but how is an out of town person to know this if it's not mentioned when booking on the BW website? So, we left for an early dinner at 4:30 and forced ourselves to not return till 7 pm. Recommend visitors in the near future (our stay was Dec 12) inquire directly with the hotel to see if this will still be an issue. Otherwise, the hotel looked nice and is in a great location. I
