Carrollton RV Parks

Perfect location for us. It is no longer a KOA Property. It is independent and called ABC Camping and Cabins now. The cabin was ckean and had everything we needed. Beautiful view of the lake from the front deck. Very quiet and peaceful. Staff is friendly. We enjoyed our stay overall with only one issue. The bathroom door did not close all the way. We reported it but the repair was not made while we were there. Talked to someone who stayed there a year ago who also had an issue with the door. Wouldn't have been as bad except that when you stepped out of the shower you are in full view of the front door which has glass and no curtain. We would stay there again but hopefully door is fixed or we get the other cabin.

Dog kennels are nicer then this place. No employees if anything happens no employees are even on site. Store is a joke. The manager is a joke. The owners don't care. It's dirty poor upkeep of the grounds. The pool is small and they left it open well over two weeks without the filter working. The swimming pond is disgusting. And we was told to just let our waste hose lay in the woods. PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE ABC campground is ran by these people as well.

they never clean black tanks... charge for a service never done....trash cans...allways full and stinks....do no go there....

Was having trouble finding somewhere to camp on short notice. It was late. They accommodated my every need and had reasonable prices. They even picked out a beautiful spot for me where I had a great amount of privacy. They had events going on and an outdoor heated pool on top of a regular swimming and fishing pond. Thoroughly enjoys my time there. Very polite staff. Only suggestion I have, make the restroom stalls bigger!!

This was our first time staying at the Carrollton KOA, although we've stayed at many KOA's across the eastern part of the country. Prior to this stay, I've never had the hosts check on us each evening when they saw us out, at the close of the day to ask if we needed anything. We did have a couple things when we checked in, but those were handled very quickly and they went out of their way to accommodate us. The restrooms and showers were clean as was the rest of the campground. I can't say enough about how well our hosts treated us. If we were permanent site kind of people, (we prefer usually to travel) we would definitely consider this campground. Thanks for your kindness and hospitality.
