A1 Twinvalley Campground

My boyfriend was in the area for work and stayed here for two weeks. It was quiet and peaceful and the owners were amazing! He wasn’t going to get to the area until very late and they were still willing to meet him. He had to delay his arrival for a day and it wasn’t an issue at all. We never write reviews but he was more than impressed with the hospitality and flexibility of the owners!

Our RV group hosted a rally here at A1 Twin Valley campground. The staff, Lori and Fred, were available, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The sites were grass and fairly level. Our group had uses of the newly renovated Rec Room with its kitchen, tables, Game tables, and area to relax. All said they'd come back again.

We loved it here in beautiful Carroll County~! The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, the campground was quiet, people were friendly and the bathrooms/showers are very well maintained. Enjoy Lake Atwood and Bluebird Farm while you're here and get some good coffee at Carroll County Coffee.

Let me warn you about this place. I have stayed at nearly 250 campgrounds in three countries so I’m comparing to my experience. Abandoned campers and buildings everywhere, fenced in barking dogs, people leaving at 6am in broken down trucks with no muffler. You get the picture. Add to this the weirdness of an office with Halloween decorations in August, religious sayings on the walls and loud orchestra music playing. I walked over to the big gray building to look for the restroom and heard bats, birds or critters scrambling in the overhang. No thanks! We were just looking for a safe and quiet place to overnight while on the road. Site was uneven in a grassy field. No website so I should have seen the red flags. Don’t make the mistake I did!

This campground is a gem! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and efficiency. The sites were well-maintained, clean, and spacious, offering plenty of room to relax and enjoy nature. The restrooms were spotless. What really set this place apart was the friendly and helpful staff, who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We can't wait to come back!
