Cardinal Motel

My boyfriend andni had gone and stayed 4 nights and planned on staying a 5th. Even though the rooms aren't up to Parr but it was cost efficient. I had approached the owners wife and asked if we could switch rooms because I'll be getting my daughter and need another bed. She had then started talking about my boyfriends car and something about moving it, it was hard to understand because she's foreign and I'm deaf, didn't have my hearing aide in. Her husband then came walking by talking about how he doesn't like kids there because he feels they are messy. Then started getting an attitude saying how apparently my boyfriend and I wanted to die last night, I guess a fire started on a car and the fire station had to come and put it out and thy needed us to move our car. I have never been so insulted in my life.my husband and I decided to stay somewhere cheap so we could do it big since it is my 25th birthday.it was fine until my brother in lae, who is darker, and his girlfriend asked to get a room because its half empty and she told him no. Then when my family dropped off my gifts they hadnt been at the door for 15 seconds before the owners wife was threatening to call the police on me.i did as she requested and she still called me back and threatened to still call the police on us and that she could throw us out with no refund. I am not a thug I am a housewife who just wanted some time out.disgusting the way she spoke to me.never will come here again.go to Scottish Inn.in my opinion u only stay here if u want to be alone

The owners husband/wife were so disrespectful and I wouldn't recommend no one to spend there money at a cheap dusty room. The husband is a very rude individual and needs new management.

Stayed here several months working locally. Never a problem with staff. Worked out details smoothly. Small town quiet place.
