Candlewood Suites Port Arthur/Nederland by IHG

The Candlewood Nederland is very comfortable and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The beds are soft and cozy and they offer 50 inch screens so u don’t have to squint to see the tv from your bed! The area is close to restaurants and great shopping. Also each room is complete with a stove if you want to cook. The deal sealer is the free beer offered on Wednesday nights! Highly recommended!

I normally wouldn't post, but I think 'friends of the hotel' are dumping 5 star reviews...it's not 5 stars. It's older and a bit run-down. Room was not as clean as I'd like and the amenities in the kitchen were very minimal. I will say that the staff was friendly and helpful. It's a stopping point for chemical/petroleum plant workers (like me).

I have nothing bad to say about this hotel. It was great, clean and the staff was very personable, very helpful, easy check in. We stay at this hotel every time we’re in town, which is plenty My family lives there. Tiffany was the greatest very helpful and sweet

I have been stayed in this hotel a few times this month. The rooms are recently renovated. They are quiet, clean, and no funny smell at all. The beds are comfortable. There is a kitchen and refrigerator in the room, which is the highlights I am looking for.The staffs are very friendly. The hotel also provide a complimentary laundry to all the quests. If you are the IHG member, the hotel owner invites you a free dinner and drink on Wednesday night. How nice!

Tiffany the manager was great. Gym only had one dumbbell which was unfortunate. Bed was pretty nice, with a pretty good TV. This place is very close to some good restaurants which was super nice & made getting dinner easy.
