Candlewood Suites Loma Linda - San Bernardino S by IHG

I stayed at Candlewood Suites Loma Linda – San Bernardino for two weeks, and I can honestly say this was one of the most comfortable and well-managed hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Erica, the General Manager, is absolutely phenomenal. Her leadership shows in every detail of the property. She is warm, professional, and genuinely invested in making sure guests are taken care of. You don’t just feel like a reservation number you feel valued. It’s rare to encounter a GM who is both highly competent and so personally present, and she sets the tone for the entire hotel. Marco at the front desk, along with Araceli, made daily interactions something to look forward to. They were consistently welcoming, efficient, and incredibly accommodating. We loved the location of the hotel because it was very close to family and the freeway that we were visiting. Plus being a newer hotel we assumed that it would be very nice, I should not assume. Once we got there ( after check in time) I was told that the room was not ready and we would have to wait for 10 mins. no problem. The bed was comfy, the space in the handicapped accessible room was great for my husband and his scooter. The horrible thing about the room it that it smelled so bad of smoke/ cigarettes. The bed sheets, pillows, even the towels. I advised the clerk about the smell and she told me that she would have the carpet cleaned the next day while we were out. Amazing stay.. I will return when I’m back in town. My company usually books my hotels, & I was nervous about the area, but to my surprise I was wrong. The rooms were clean and the service was great. My check in was smooth and easy. & this is a great location.

Correction to previous post. Very disappointed and disheartened. Manager and some of the staffs very rude. Even though I paid for the room they still kicked us out cuz they were reserved for Kaiser strikes. I reservation was nonrefundable AND booked before the Kaiser employees. Staffs are wonderful!! Attentive RESPECTFUL and understanding. There to answer any and all questions. Very dog friendly!!! After 8 years of renting a place we were given 60 day notice to move out because the owner wanted to sell. CANDLEWOOD has come to our rescue. Only thing I wish we can rent a suite on a monthly bases until we can find an AFFORDABLE place around this area. I know what you thinking GOODLUCK! YOU NEVER KNOW, we found Candlewood!!! The price is very affordable.

Always an amazing stay, stayed more then once. Only problem is when I came in Saturday December 13 I want to say between 8:00p - 8:10pm to check in. So I checked in with whatever lady working that night. So problem is I asked her for an extra parking pass which , but she informed me a parking pass was $14. So I followed up and said “I think last time I was here I don’t think the guy charged me are you sure” & then she completely got a attitude, she informed me she was going tell her manager on the guy insisting she is going to get him in trouble.
