Camptown Hotel

I would just like to take a minute to thank all the staff at Camptown for their unbelievable kindness and care during my two-night stay. I had eaten at Casa Susanna before (incredible experience every time) but never stayed at the hotel. My partner recently had a major neurosurgery, and her family stepped in to take over her care so I could get away with my two beagles for two nights of quiet and restoration. It was everything I needed and more; what a beautiful experience in a beautiful place amongst beautiful people. I can't wait to come back with my beloved fully healed to introduce her to all the people who took such good care of me when I needed it most. I cannot recommend the hotel (I stayed in the standard cabin) or the restaurant more highly. Everything about this place is healing.

Our experience wasn’t exactly what we expected, unfortunately. Check-in went smoothly up until she was ready to send us on our way in total blackness without giving any guidance on where we should drive our car and park to ease bringing our luggage into our cabin. Even after I specifically asked what area we should park in for our specific cabin she directed us to a parking lot….we wandered for 20 minutes upon exiting the parking lot until we realized we should have been told our cabin has its very own parking space - absolutely not acceptable to not mention this fact, given the terrain and structure of the property. The cabin itself was “cute” to a certain degree, but poorly maintained. The windows didn’t all close/latch completely, meaning the windstorms we had two nights in a row blew w

We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Camptown. We rented the two-bedroom cabin and it was perfect and homey with cabin-chic decor. We all had the best nights sleep. The team was super welcoming and helpful, and we loved being greeted every morning by Henry and Joey when we went to get our coffee and the rest of the team as we walked around the property. Casa Susanna is a must! We had dinner and brunch and both were perfect, and the bar is great for a cocktail. We also loved the pantry, which was fully stocked with yummy local things to purchase. The location is great, easy to get to, and perfect for getting around Hudson/Catskills. It was the perfect winter getaway and we cannot wait to go back in the summer.

We had a lovely stay in Camptown! We would love to travel with our dog more but a lot of places aren't as dog friendly as they claim but Camptown was an exception! Sherry at the front desk was kind enough to give us dog treats and a towel for him. He also needs his food refrigerated but the rooms didn't have a fridge. Again, the staff was accommodating and willing to give us a concession, Sherry was able to arrange for a small fridge for the duration of our stay. All the staff were kind, warm and polite. The food at Casa Susanna was incredible and the vibes of the property in the fall are immaculate! We would happily come back and stay again :)

Took a break from NYC and spent the weekend at Camptown in January. It was a beautiful winter wonderland! The cabin was cozy and comfortable. The heated bathroom floors and access to a pantry was thoughtful and being pet friendly, a big bonus!! I’d love to visit in the summertime! Thank you!
