Campton Mountain Ski Area

We’ve spent long weekends at Waterville Valley Estates in the past and loved spending time on the ski hill, and eating and enjoying music at the lodge. We’ve never been there on the rare occasions that they’ve had the one chairlift open, but we had a blast with our littlest family members using the rope tow. This past weekend we were there but the ski hill was never open all weekend and the lodge was only open Friday night. It’s a great little spot for people with small kids or for beginners, but you can’t count on the mountain to be open. I’m hoping I can find another spot that has the charm of Campton Mountain that we can count on to open up on winter weekends.

Great place to do a beautiful summer day hike. Highly recommend it. Easy work out and fun with kids.

Perfect small ski area for all ages!

Awesome lodge, great employees, love the local music support. So fun.

Tiny mountain (1 chairlift, 1 rope pull, 3 trails) that is a fun and affordable place to teach a little kid to ski at. Nice little lodge/bar for drinks or basic fast food. Be ready for slippery uphill roads after a snowstorm as this will not be the first road plowed in the area. Don't expect anything fancy and you should have a good time.
