Just finished a Great weekend with BEARS! So much fun. The cabins were clean with great ac! Loved that everyone was so friendly. The hot tub felt so good after a day of playing. The new in ground pool was great for cooling off during the day. The entire area was so pretty with all the trees and hills. Since I am from flat Oklahoma this area blew my mind! Well worth our almost 8 hour drive there. We will be back! Thanks Derrick and all the volunteers!

Partner and I have gone multiple times and is an amazing experience each time! As an overly shy person, each time there has been better than the last. The welcoming and friendly environment is very apparent as soon as you arrive!

Went for Bears Weekend. June 27-28th 2025 I had the absolute time of my life. My first experience at a camp ground similar to this wasn’t positive. My time at boars rut was absolutely incredible I can’t say a bad word about this place . The owner is very friendly and welcoming everyone who works there is friendly and inviting. The guests really make you feel comfortable. 10/10 experience will go again very soon.

Stopped at the Boars Rut on our way through Arkansas. Had such a good time, we extended our stay! Very welcoming and clean environment. Will be sure to check out their themed weekends.

Recently had my first camping experience here and I absolutely loved it! My partner and I stayed here Memorial Day weekend and although it was a smaller crowd, it was a nice, fun, relaxing trip in a serene wooded area. A drive of any duration shows how beautiful the area is due to lush trees and a more secluded environment. As a gay campsite, it was modest, nonjudgmental, and really pleasant and it’s only growing! My partner and I highly recommend it as a couple looking for a getaway or a single person looking to experience the outdoors for the first time, the Boars Rut is a great place to go for community and fun!
