Campers' Paradise

I am not sure why this place doesn't have 1,000 stars, but to each their own. We took our son here to surprise him for his birthday and could not be happier. Yes, it is difficult to get in to, but there is a reason for that. People have been coming here for generations and once you visit, you will see why. You arrive on a long gravel road that turns in to a causeway leading to Goat Island. You are greeted by hundreds of mature trees and winding roads with kids riding their bikes all over like we were back in 1980. The office is small and always has a friendly face behind the desk. They have souvenirs, ice cream, and a small selection of groceries. You can also purchase ice and firewood there. Amazing experience! We had an inside spot and it was perfect! Not to close to people, very quiet and amazing workers! They even brought water to us when we forgot to fill on our way in!

2025 was our first year camping at Campers Paradise and I hope to return again very soon. The showers/ restrooms were very clean and well kept, the beach offered hours of tanning and swimming fun, and the campsites are large and private- surrounded by tall trees. We enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Was a nice campgrounds, site was nice, lake and fishing were great. Facilities were maintained beyond expectations.

Beautiful Island. Spacious sites. Little tight for large trailers, but doable. Example 30ft travel trailer.
