Camp Melita Island - Scouting America, Montana Council

Part of me wants to rate Camp Melita 1 star, only because I selfishly want to keep it a secret for our troop! But honestly it was a fantastic camp and I can't say enough about the staff and leadership. The food was fantastic and so was the programming. It's no wonder why this camp fills up nearly a year in advance. All the staff I interacted with were wonderful, from the veteran staffers to the newest recruits. Special thanks to Ashley Jerome for her fantastic leadership! She has my vote for Camp director of the year! Troop 127 in Aurora, Colorado will definitely be back.

This was an incredible scout camp. The staff is truly special. They are having fun and it shows. The camp is well run, fun for adult leaders and overall 10/10. I’d love to come back.

Loved everything about our week on Melita! The staff was phenomenal and poured so much heart and soul into the program for both the youth and Adults! Our Troop's growth and experiences over the week were incredible. Highly recommended as a Scout Camp destination! 🏕

Returned today from a week at camp Melita. Very well run program. The staff is enthusiastic, full of contagious energy, and they took great care of our troop. Melita is THE camp to beat. I will forever compare all other camps to this one. It's picturesque, they have activities for adults as well, and again, the staff. This place is something special and so are the people who run it. Say hi to Jackson for me. My son can flint knap now!

Awesome Boy Scouts of America camp! Well organized program, enthusiastic staff, and incredible location results in an amazing camp experience for scouts. I highly recommend this camp for any troop looking for a different camp to attend next summer!
