We lucked out and got a site one week before arrival (drove down from Alberta). We tented in site B006 for 5 nights and absolutely loved it! The camp hosts were so friendly and even came around to collect our garbage. Our site was on the water which we loved. I didn’t love that our firepit was next to the road instead of by the water so we often used our propane firepit at night. Also most sites aren’t very flat so it was challenging to find a level spot for the tent and picnic table. Highly suggest paddling over to Wild Horse Island for a day trip!
Loved our stay in the Mission Yurt. Affordable and comfortable. Beds were even good! Beautiful location. Helpful camp hosts who made nightly rounds. Our friends had awesome site on water. Our kids swam for hours. One of the more private campgrounds. Only drawbacks were 1. Fishing licenses were very expensive. Bummer for my husband to not have the experience of fishing with my son since cost was so insane 2. No camp fires despite surrounding areas having them. 3. Toilets closest to sites are pit and there is one nice flush bathroom/shower in the middle.
Beautifully maintained campground with plenty of bathrooms and water spigots (all potable!) dog friendly. Camp sites are a little close together.

Absolutely beautiful. Great view, sun rise and sun set. The staff offer a bundle of fire wood for $6 and a bag of ice for $3 for those who run out. Showers available and restroom for natural campers. Definitely will be visiting again. And of course pets are welcome. Remember your dog leashes 😉
