Cabins by the Joe

This was our second stay at Cabins by the Joe, and it was just as amazing as the first! The cabins are clean, the views are breathtaking, and the location is perfect—close to town but still peaceful and scenic. The campground hosts are fantastic and keep everything well-maintained, including filling the hummingbird feeders on every deck. We counted up to five hummingbirds per feeder at times—such a beautiful sight! One evening, we witnessed the most incredible sunset we’ve ever seen. The sky lit up in shades of pink and purple, reflecting off the water and casting a soft pink hue over everything. It was absolutely magical. We can’t wait to come back again!

We stayed in a cool little cabin. Great location across the street from the St. Joe river, with chairs and picnic table on the river to use. Pretty bear bones, at a minimum would have liked coffee/coffee filters and maybe some shampoo.

Not a single bathroom for travel trailer guest. |The cabins they rent are hooked to city sewer yet they're to cheap to install an outside toilet.|We paid $45 a night to park.

This was a great place to stay! Cabin was very clean and had everything needed for the weekend. We enjoyed relaxing by the river and watching people catch fish. It is so peaceful and beautiful. Camp hosts were exceptional. Can’t wait to come back next year!

We stayed in one of the smaller Cabins (#3) which has a nice view of the river from the window. We could even hear the river (though water levels were quite high during our stay at the end of May, not sure if this is always the case). Very clean and comfortably furnished. Lots of thoughtful touches, like salt and pepper shakers by the microwave. We loved spending time on the community picnic table on the banks of the river. Host Lori was delightful. We can't wait to come back on our next trip to the Idaho panhandle.
