Butte Valley RV Park

We and another couple spent one night here in June 2025 on our way to Oregon. As others have mentioned, Brett was very polite and helpful when we arrived in leading us to two level sites next to each other that were just fine and nicely shaded. Full hookups were available, but we chose just electricity. Would’ve appreciated a picnic table and didn’t see a trash can, but those weren’t deal breakers. We could see and hear the trains at night, but only one was loud when it sounded its big horn. This place felt safe and secure (the gate is closed and may be locked) for overnight, not that this was a rough area. I would think that springtime here would be pretty, but in early summer we found it dry and bare dirt dusty, but fine for one night. I gave it four stars for the lack of anything but h

Nice and quiet RV park with friendly manager / owner and shady trees to relax under and enjoy the view out to the mountains. Right on the edge of Dorris township, easy walk into town. Great overnight stop to explore the local area. Thanks for having us!

Such a great rv park. All the great elements of a park are back & under the new owners, the place is so much nicer. They cleaned up the whole park, gotten rid of the trash element. & have been working hard for a year now getting it even nicer. Such a great location too, you can stay for a week, a day even a month! Last time I was there it had just snowed, what a lovely park with a view of the mountain. Now it's summer & alls green again. Give this place a stay. You'll be glad you did.

This RV park is very nice and clean. The host Brett, is on site and very friendly and helpful. Definitely a 5 star rating. We will definitely be back. Great view of Mount Shasta from our campsite.

Brett was our host, a real gentleman and terrific host as he walked us to our site and explained everything. The entrance was closed for the nite but sign on gate said open and to call number posted. Our overnite stay was perfect. If going thru Dorris again we will stay again.
