Burke Mountain Hotel

We didn’t arrive until after 11 and the gentleman running check in was truly an expert in hospitality. Lovely new building. Trendy colors and details, lots of space. Clean common areas and I didn’t notice any visible wear or age. Had all the classic things to do - arcade, restaurant, gym, swimming, gift shop etc. Take what I say next with however much salt or sugar you think is appropriate. (Minor context I’m a happy customer naturally & a corporate visual expert by profession, can’t help but notice small stuff) If you aren’t someone who does a bit of an audit when checking into a room, you can stop reading here. Positive: The location is beautiful, and the staff was extremely friendly and understanding about my car issues. Negative: The road leading up has potholes which have me two flat tires. There were also a ton of flies in the window of the room. Three of the electrical sockets did not work.

Our family has vacationed at Burke Mountain Resort Hotel during the summer months for the past 3 years. Here is our honest review of our experience. It's gorgeous. It has a "ski lodge" aesthetic. Views from the rooms are to die for. It doesn't matter which side of the hotel you stay in. The views of the valley and Willoughby gap can't be beat. Absolutely top notch location, service, and comfort. We were pleasantly surprised by our stay at the Burke Mountain Hotel, as we had never been here before. The skiing/snowboarding was really fun despite being -9 degrees. We’re looking forward to skiing tomorrow after some snow tonight. After getting a full day in, we enjoyed a couple beers at the Bear’s Den where they had a guy playing guitar and singing, and the Pats/Broncos semifinal game on that everyone was really into. It was so great to warm up and soak up the local scene. Our check in was seamless and everyone who works here is helpful and professional from the lifties to the bar tenders to the front desk staff and valet. Nice enough. Fireplace in the room didn't work very well and I think the hotel wants to be fancier than it is. But having said that, it was a totally fine place to stay, the bed was pretty comfy, and staff was very friendly and helpful.
