We have escaped the Arizona temperatures numerous summers with a trip to this wonderful Oregon State campground on the coast. Sixty-five degrees is the norm but you better not mind wind...because it can blow your hat away with one try. The campground is very large but most of the campsites have some privacy from your neighbors--particularly in the A and B loops. Many sites have full hookups...electric, water and sewer. Some have no sewer but there is a dump station outside C loop. Each loop has about 60 sites and each has restrooms with showers. It's a great place to walk your dog(s) and a short drive to any number of beaches where your dog(s) can run free. (Just make sure you bring your poop bags...no one wants "presents" left in the sand.) The town of Bandon is a few miles down t
Great park. The RV parking pad is absolutely level and private. Men’s shower room is spotless. The trail is well maintained and the view is great. Quiet and dark at night. Great price ($42 for non OR resident with power and water).
Of the location is a 5 it's beautiful here. We had reservations but still had to wait for our spot. When we do get to our camp site it's flooded. Granted it was raining but we were in 3 inches of water setting up our camp trailer. We would have to pay the cancelation fees to move to different camp site. There were plenty of sites available and I double checked online to make sure but I was informed again that we would have cancelation fees. After a long day my husband and I went to take a shower. It was raining so we drove and parked at the showers. When we returned to the truck a white truck pulled up next to us with a spotlight shining in our windows. Then they followed us back to our camp site. 😐 This morning we had to change the tire on our trailer but our jack was missing. So we w
Bullards Beach is one of the best coastal state parks in my opinion. Set well off the highway, long stretch of sandy shore pretty accessible. Sites not too close together. Hosts to help out. Nice restrooms with showers. Close to Brandon for supplies. Overall lots of positives.
One of my favorite places in the PNW. For years we have done our annual crab trip there. Catching always veries but it's always a good time. The other thing that varies is the amount of attitude u catch, depending upon the park host.
