Budget Inn

Very clean nice place to stay. Manager was awesome when we had an issue. We dropped a glass beer bottle in the room and he came in and swept, wet mopped then dry mopped the floor, ending by getting on hands and knees to be sure there were no glass bits hiding. I offered him a tip but he would not consider it. Would highly recommend.

Rented 3 rooms over the weekend and had really nice stay. Owners were super friendly and rooms were spotless! You can tell that the owners really enjoy what they do because they put a lot of work into their property. Quiet location and I felt safe if outside by myself. We will most definitely stay again if we are ever back in the area.

Budget Inn may not be the newest, or fanciest place to stay, but if you're looking for a clean and quiet place to sleep, check it out. Beds were comfortable, room and sheets were clean, and the A/C works. There is a coffee maker in the room and a small fridge to keep cold stuff in. I arrived fairly late in the day, but was checked in no problems. Had 3 good night's sleep and if I was to come back to Lake Wales, I would not hesitate to book a room here again.

Positive: The staff was friendly during our stay and offered housekeeping everyday. The beds were comfortable and the room was nice and clean. It?s also located in a quiet area and we appreciated that. Negative: We could have used more table space, a couple more pillows and a luggage rack.

I contacted the hotel to cancel a reservation with over a months notice and was refused. When I requested to speak with a manager or learn when one would be available, the front desk employee told me he “owed me no answers” and then hung up on me. This is not acceptable customer service and reflects poorly on the management of this property. Transparency and basic professionalism were completely absent. Based on this experience alone, I will not be stepping foot near this place.
