This is my favorite little hotel just across the beach! These kind and dear people who run this hotel make a person feel like a part of the family. The lady of the house is quite lovely, she always gave me a clean, nicely appointed room with everything working. Having stayed in hotels in numerous countries and of many different price ranges, I find myself returning to Budget Express Inn in Daytona over and over. Thus far I have rented rooms from them over three seasons and a couple of years and have always enjoyed the clean, quiet atmosphere of their hotel.

The stay was ok. Sheets are stained, wash cloths was VERY VERY dingy. You pay for extra people but don't get enough towels and washcloth for everyone. The room smells like mildew, the first morning I wake up in the room I get a sore throat. The air conditioning filter doesn't seem like it gets changed like it should. It reeks of dust and mold. The price is too much to be on the 2nd row of A1. The outside is beautiful but more money should be invested on the rooms...like the linens and towels and toiletries. The location is great. A variety of stores close by. The older lady housekeeper was very sweet. Management should not belittle the workers while patrons are around. I felt embarrassed for her she was the only one I saw cleaning rooms she couldn't finish one thing without being tol

The good: clean clean rooms other than one of the towels had a long black hair on it, the beds were soft. The area was very quiet and it felt safe. The bad: my fiancee and I arrived at 11pm and were told there is no late checkout. The woman at the front desk was very rude and rushed. I had my mom book the room (she is elderly and cannot see well) and when we had finished the woman stared blankly at her and said "What else do u need?" In a rude tone. The owner paces around at 10am to guarantee you do not stay a minute past 10am. The price was great and the rooms were surprisingly clean other than the room smelling damp and moldy. I'd stay again if I was in a pinch. No coffee or any type of breakfast. Idk if they had wifi because there is no room phone or way to contact anyone if they don't

This is by far the WORST hotel I have ever stayed at, not because it is cheap and run down but because the owner is outrageously rude and scary. We booked online and when we arrived they did not honor the price we booked online. We were charged an extra $150 and then had to pay an extra $9 for everyone besides the man who actually booked the room. There were 4 people in our room, we were allowed one room key. Every time we would come and go from the room he would step outside and watch us. Besides the one man who actually purchased the room we were yelled at and told that we were in the wrong place and that we did not purchase a room there. We were in town for Collage cheerleading nationals and were getting dressed for a night out with 2 of our other friends and he called the cops because
