Budget Inn

I loved the huge room I got —with a super comfortable king size bed. I especially loved that I had a whole little room for my kitchen. It included its own sink, cabinets, cute kitchen table, microwave, & mini fridge. Room was clean, cable tv worked great. Leonard, the manager, was wonderful, super helpful, & friendly! His dog, Xena, was a sweetheart too. Room was quiet all week. I felt very safe. Perfect location in the beautiful small town of Buena Vista, right by the Appalachian Trail. 😊

My husband and I stayed there only one night. Wish it could have been longer. Traveling thru on our Harleys to our next destination. The care taker there was totally awesome. Very friendly and helpful. He does all the maint, cleaning, etc. Place was spotless. If you ever have a chance to stay there, I totally recommend it.

The person who checked us in was very polite. The room was clean. The beds were as hard as a rock. We didn't get a good night's sleep. It defeated the reason why we stopped.

The location is great and convenient to campus, several shops, stores and restaurants. The management team (Leonard and Xena!) was helpful, accommodating and professional. For Xena please take a dog biscuit! We had no problems reaching or finding either of the managers for our questions. Our room was neat and clean, also, quiet. The Budget Inn is a wonderful step back into Memory Lane for 20 or 40 years and and a wonderful experience. You may also receive a special treat and hear a train whistle. If you are looking for a real Five Star, with chocolates on the pillow, a smooth parking lot and valet service, consider driving 3-10 hours in another direction! This is a great little motel! Well priced cheap motel. It’s quiet with friendly neighbors. Clean room, clean bathroom, and shower gets steaming hot with no problems. Mini fridge is pretty big and decent sized to hold a decent amount of food. There is laundry on site for $2.50 per wash and $2.50 per dry. Leonard is the gentleman that runs this place, and he does a fantastic job! Very nice, polite, friendly older gentleman who makes sure your stay is comfortable. When I first got here one of my lamps didn’t work, I called Leonard and he immediately brought me a working lamp to replace the non working one so I could see. Also, Leonard has a dog named zena, who is a Pit Bull and Blue Heeler mix and is absolutely beautiful and the sweetest dog ever, and also loves to play, and she watches over
