Budget Inn

The Budget Inn is located in Bryan, TX. It was once called the "Casa Loma Motel." The motel is super hard to find on any booking site, I haven't seen it on any of them myself. It's a small business, a wife and husband run it. From what I've seen and heard, the owners aren't terrible but not great either. They seem inpatient and can be watchful. The rooms are pretty dated & have strangest restroom and A/C unit that i've ever seen in any sort of motel/hotel. There is a mini fridge and microwave, so you have just about all the typical things one would need in their motel/hotel stay. The rate of the rooms goes for about $65 a night. The property seems charming and quaint by its antiquated look. The owner is nice enough for his age and what he does, but the amenities are sub par. The bedding and toiletries are failing in comfort and use. The shower barely spits out water and leaks into the bathroom. No useable heater is available in the room. The door lock didn’t lock from the inside and could be accessed anytime by anyone if they chose. Seems like I “got what I paid for” by choosing this motel. Won’t be there again.

Usual key problems .usual Poor tv qualities and don't never see the faded numbers and letters in the remote as usual. Outdated lighting and furniture. Why they claim new management or owners when it doesn't show at all!

It was a somewhat Pleasant stay up until my wife became ill and was puking everywhere and the owners told her that we had to leave in that they didn't care and that they don't deal with her kind of people.... Shes mixxed. Black and white. Told us to leave or they would call the cops.

If I had a no stars option I would have chosen it. Roaches, leaky sink, rude, they do not clean properly, told by the owners no cooking in the room that we had to cook outside, were also told that we could not have visitors, mind you they were paid weekly to stay there and we were there 2 months. I would NOT RECOMMEND anybody stay here for even a night or two.
