Buckeye Cabins

We stayed in Dogwood which was nice and secluded. You could hear the other cabins if they got rowdy but the back porch with the hot tub was completely private and had a nice view of the trees. The cabin itself was quaint and clean (except for the fridge which was sticky and clearly dirty). The hot tub was super clean and heated up quick and the fire pit had a nice swing next to it. All in all it was a nice quiet weekend in a good sized cabin with quick access to local parks/hiking.||||Things to note: There is no Cell service and no wifi. You have to drive 3 min up the road to a pull off for service. The road in/out is one lane but 2 way so drive slow. There are no screens on the windows which was disappointing but the cabin has great heat and AC. The water is well water and has STRONG sulf

I have rented many cabins over the past 10-12 years in the Hocking Hills area. This was the first time I had rented from Buckeye Cabins. I rented the Aspen cabin and I would definitely rent that cabin again. The location was wooded and fairly secluded. The front and side porches were great. The side porch covers a beautiful and very clean hot tub that I thoroughly enjoyed. The inside of the cabin was clean and well appointed with comfortable seating and nice appliances. It was a perfect weekend getaway for the 3 of us and would easily accommodate 4. Doug, the owner, met us at the main office and led the way for us up to the cabin. He went over everything we needed to know about the cabin so we had no questions or concerns during our stay. I will caution those who either don't like

My wife and I stayed at the "Hawaiian" Cabin this past weekend for our anniversary, and it was wonderful! The cabin was clean, well furnished and greatly taken care of. It is in the perfect spot for exploring the surrounding area, and only a short drive to Logan. Very remote and peaceful! Thank you for a great stay Buckeye Cabins!

This was our third visit to Buckeye Cabins overall and our second to the Dogwood. We've been visiting HH a few times per year for over a decade. By far, this is the cleanest cabin we've stayed in! No funky smells, no crumbs on the floor, no residue on the dishes! ||||We love the seclusion and coziness of this cabin! For us, it's the perfect size. After cooking and eating a big meal, playing pool prevented us from becoming big blobs just sitting on the sofa!||||Although it was too cold to enjoy it this time, the back porch swing is a favorite spot to enjoy our morning coffee!||||Thanks, Doug, for a great visit!

If you want seclusion, this is the area for you! Spent the weekend in the Hawaiian where we had a pool table and a hot tub. The cabin was beautiful inside and out. The drive up to this specific cabin is a steep hill, but thankfully with our SUV it was no issue and a car wouldn't have problems either unless it snows. We had a in cabin massage which the cabin provided plenty of room. Keep in mind that if you NEED cell phone/wireless access, we have AT&T and we had no service (which we knew we probably wouldn't) but we have kids so when we went into town, we checked in on them. Just keep it in mind. There is also well water in the cabin so you might want to make sure you have bottled water if you don't want well water.
